Sanny Kataoka, the founder of Verilaw, LLC, is a seasoned attorney who started her career as an employment and business litigator at large and medium-size law firms in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She works with clients in various industries, including technology, life sciences and healthcare as well as public agencies and non-profits. As the first legal hire and General Counsel at Validant, a life sciences consulting company, Sanny grew a legal team and addressed the needs of a growing international business through contracting modernization, implementing corporate governance measures and effectively managing risk. She enjoys working closely with business and executive teams to drive the business forward with practical legal solutions. Sanny obtained her juris doctor degree from UCLA School of Law and graduated with Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley.
